Check Out The Reason Why Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia Was Booed At A Durbar In The Ashanti Region

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been booed at a durbar ground, and many Ghanaians after coming across this video couldn't keep mute over it. According to the person who recorded this video, this incident happened in the Ashanti Region. Dr Mahamudu Bawumia was addressing the inhabitants and the chief when the people started making noise.

The Vice President was overheard in the video saying, "On behalf of the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo, I am very grateful for inviting us to witness such a fantastic festival and we are very happy to be part of it. Once again, I will like to use this opportunity to thank the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and Kwahuhene for such an invitation".

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia had a lot of things to tell people but the people were so angry. The inhabitants started shouting at the top of their voices and some of them were singing, " Away! , away! ! away! ! ! " . The security man for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia saw that how the people were angry could lead to chaos so he quickly got closer to him and whispered into his ears that it is time to go.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia quickly left the pulpit as he was protected into his convoy and they drove away. According to the person who recorded the video, the people booed Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia because of the current economic hardship in the country. As many Ghanaians can remember, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia promised to make the economy of Ghana better than that of President John Dramani Mahama but it has turned out that his managing skills are even poorer than that of John Mahama.
